Mel Gibson's divorce from his wife of 31 years, Robyn Moore, was finalized in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday.
The Hollywood superstar was hit with a hard blow when it was decided that he would split his $850 million fortune with his ex-wife. By California state law Robyn is entitled to half of his assets, as they didn't get a prenup when they wed back in 1980.
Robyn and Mel split five years ago after when Gibson was a detained for driving under the influence in Malibu. He was later shamed throughout the film industry for making anti-Semitic remarks.
