Evelyn Lozada of Basketball Wives fame is branching out into writing and acting, as she just inked a six-figure book and film deal with Cash Money.
Evelyn's deal with Cash Money Content, which just launched this year in partnership with Atria Books (an imprint of Simon & Schuster), will lead into her books being turned into films. The fictional books will be loosely based off of her life and dating professional athletes.
Her first work will be titled The Wives Association and will be co-written by "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" writer Courtney Parker.
Evelyn recently spoke on her partnership with Cash Money, saying “The stories that you hear—what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle—I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels. By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand,” Lozada explains. “Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical.”
Will you be reading Evelyn's books?
